Workout Wednesday-Shreding it!

Well I have jumped on the bandwagon after Miss Hailey told me to go pick up the Jillian 30 Day Shred. I wanted something to push me and kick my booty(and this workout video you literally do kick your booty haha) I REALLY like it so far! I am on day 4 and about to try level two tmrw. I made the mistake of using my 8lb weights the first time I did it and it was a little two intense, so i switched to 4lbs. Call me crazy but I love being sore! I know I did something when I am sore haha. I said I would post a before and after shot.. so here is my before. I will post an after when my 30 days are up!


ignore the barley there makeup and bad hair haha So off to some Ab talk. I admit, I am lazy when it comes to doing ab workouts,(part of the reason i love this shred video, it makes me do it). I have done 3 ab workouts for about 10 years now: The normal crunch, the reverse crunch, the bicycle. These are some pretty well known crunches but the key is to do these with slow movement and good breathing. Also make sure you keep your eyes on the ceiling as well, never look down. It better to do 10 corret crunches then 50 wrong ones. Of course just doing crunches will not get you definition, you have to do cardio. It cant be that easy huh haha.     Am I the ONLY one who got no benefits from 30 day shred??(I like feeling sore afterward) So strange..on the other hand Jackie Warner's routines KICKED my butt..You have an awesome body! Great inspiration!

    I like the shred when I do it too! It seriously can make me so sore, which is CRAZY because I run so much. I really like the feeling after through and it works so good! πŸ™‚ I'm glad you like it!

    onto the shred…jillian and i don't get along. we have a love/hate relationship. i love her for 2-3 days then hate her for like 20.

    The Shred and I have a love/hate relationship. I love it for a week, then I stop for 3 weeks…then I start, then I stop. Now that the hubby is coming home, as I assumed, I'm kicking myself for not doing it while I had all that time to myself. : But when I DID stick to it for more than a week, I noticed a difference.

    …and 8lb. weights? My jaw dropped. πŸ˜€ I've been using 3lb.

    Look at you Ms.Thing!!! You don't need to shred an ounce…you look FAB.U.LOUS.
    So i started the shred, then my dvd player went out in the living room and haven't gotten a new one yet. Oopsie-daisies…i'm procrastinating the cursing of such a dvd :)-

    When I did The Shred I really liked it. It made me incredibly sore the first couple of days but I really toned up in some areas. I liked it!

    I have done the 30 day shred and it is no lie…you get results! It is really hard and intense and I didn't really even change my eating habits and I could see serious definition after a couple of weeks. Good luck!

    I agree with everyone else–that looks like the AFTER photo, lady! You seriously look fab.

    I did the Shred, and I think I'm one of only a few who didn't like it. I felt fantastic and sore afterwards, so it seemed like a good plan. But I never really lost any inches or anything. However, everyone says it's fantastic, so good luck to you!! πŸ™‚

    I have a love/hate relationship with The Shred. I love it because I feel stronger and feel more toned but I hate it because it literally kicks my @ss every time!

    the shred has completely changed by body…like completely…someone sent me a photo of me dancing from the wedding i went to last week…and all you can see is my back and an arm and okay i have to pat myself on that amazingly toned back b/c DAMN lady it looked good! hahaha…glad you like it!

    You don't need to shred! You look amazing!!

    The first time I did the 30DS, I lost 2.5 inches all over. I didn't drop any pounds, but I dropped 1 1/2 pants sizes (that 1/2 really screwed things up since people don't sell 1/2 sizes!!)
