It is that time of year again, Holiday season is quickly approaching and its about to get even busier in the Gibson Household! Yesterday I got an email from my sister titled “Save the DateS” haha… ONLY US! We have about 12 events/parties/birthdays etc coming up and that number doesn’t even include Christmas Parties! Yes we are crazy, but we absolutely enjoy every second of it! I like to say that all these parties are keeping up with my Dress Wardrobe! haha ; )
ANNNNNNNNNNND! Drew and I decided we are going to go to VEGAS for our one year anniversary next month! We are really excited! We can’t wait to eat amazing food, relax and have an absolute wonderful time! I cant wait to give Drew his present and I cant wait to see his reaction! : ) Here are some silly pictures of when I went to Vegas over the years….

Mike Tyson sat at our table at Pure, but cool and scary hahaSpeaking of Vegas…. I want some restaurant suggestions from all you foodies out there!!! We love to eat amazing food, so please please send some recommendations my way! We have already been recommended Batistas (Whole in the wall Italian), yummmmmy! : ) We have eaten at the following: Nobu, Little Buddah, Rum Jungle, Antonios, Tao, Alize, and Noodles. Been to Vegas soooooo many times for work- I hate it. But, go off the strip to eat for sure, far better quality and less expensive. Nora's Italian would be my #1 off-strip recommendation.

I am going next month TOO!! When are you guys going?! The Range Steakhouse in Harrah's is great, so is Les Artistes Steakhouse in Paris, Le Provençal in Paris is great for Italian. YUMMM im ready to eat!! LOL

Yeah, Vegas!!! The Hubs & I had such a fun time together 🙂
Our very favorite place to eat was Bouchon at the Venetian – it's very French-bistro-esq & down & our FABULOUS!!!! You must try the French onion soup, it's what they're famous for, and the french bread + butter they lay out on the table before dinner is to die for! There's a fantastic salad of endive, and of course their specialty shellfish flown in daily. The Hubs is a BIG fan of oysters on the half shell & steamed mussels. The steak pom frites was amazing & I couldn't get enough of the Vehlrona chocolate cake… MMMMMMmmm!!!! You MUST go there 🙂
Another fabulous bar/restaurant was Stack in the Mirage – it was sexy and fun & the food was delish – I'd say that Bouchon was a bit more fancy/formal & Stack was more trendy fun. At Stack the lobster tacos was outrageous, as was the kobe meatball pizza, lamb w/lentils, kobe burger and (again) shellfish – AMAZING!
Ugh… so jealous we're not going back soon 🙂

vegas will be so fun im jealous! i ate at social house in treasure island when i was there…i thought it was really good! it was asian food. hope you have a great time!
I love Vegas!!! You should also think about Fix @ the Belagio. It's a great place, perfect for dinner and people watching! Also if you want a nicer, blow your mind French dinner, you should try Bouchon at the Venetian. It's amazing!

We went to Prime when we were there 2 years ago and it was AMAZING! Best meal Ive ever had, and we had a view of the fountains, so we got to watch that all evening! 🙂 Have a great time!

You haaaave to try Bobby Flay's restaurant at Caesar's called Mesa Grill. It was so yummy that my boyfriend made me take a picture of him with his meal!
Also try Spago at Belagio. Its great italian food.

Okay, you HAVE to eat at this place next to Mandalay Bay. Its at the top of The Hotel (yes, that's the name). The whole restuarant is white an very chic! PS…its also where britney had her after party when she had her concert there! Its called MIX…and it has awesome views of the strip!
Wow, the Mike T thing would be a bit creepy (and pretty cool at the same time). You, know, I don't remember the name of the it, but Caesars has a great sushi place. Happy anniversary and have fun!

You should go eat at Bradley Ogden in Caesars. It is so yummy! You guys will have so much fun!!! Have you ever gone to a cirque show? If not you should go see "O" at the Bellagio. 🙂

Hi, I love your blog and thought I'd recommend Viva Mercado's if you're willing to drive off of the strip. It's on rainbow and spring mountain. I just moved from Las Vegas a couple of months ago and I'm seriously missing this place so much.
Ive never been to Vegas! I want to go sooo bad! us girls have said we will go for our 30th bdays…so hopefully we will!
