Andaz Maui Resort- Part 1

Maui doesn’t need much of an introduction. We fell in love 7 years ago and were SO excited to go back and visit. We stayed at the Grand Wailea the first time we visited, so we knew the area very well. We had the opportunity to review another one of Andaz’s properties in Maui. The Andaz Maui is brand spanking new and has only been on the island for 2 years. The entrance is gorgeous and the open floor plan in the front lobby lets Maui’s beautiful skyline shine. We were whisked away to our ocean front room on the top floor. I immediately headed out to the balcony and was floored with our gorgeous view.

We got in around 2pm so we didn’t have much time before we had to head to dinner. Mama’s fish house was hands down our favorite restaurant our first visit to the island, so we knew we wanted to head there our first night. We arrived and snuck in a few pictures on their beautiful grounds before the sun set. The staff then took us to the most perfect table in the restaurant. We ordered the Ahi Sashimi for an appetizer and if you are in Maui, you MUST have this during your stay(another fav is the lobster guacamole!). There are a lot of restaurants that have that “hype” but Mama’s fish house deserves every ounce of praise it gets.

I wore this adorable palm print dress by Cece by Cynthia Steffe for our first night. It was the perfect dress for Maui. The fit and flare design is one of my favorites and i love the combination of turquoise and palm print. I am loving this romper and this dress too!
