Thanksgiving and Rhinestone Cowgirls!

WOWEE! What a fabulous holiday weekend we had! We stayed busy, but had a blast! We ate so much good food and enjoyed all the company!

Wednesday night we went over to my sisters for her annual Pre Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwiches. oh my are these delicious! Smoked Turkey, homemade cranberry sauce, cheese, sage mayo all on italian bread! Sounds tasty huh! Buzz and Sadie wore their matching I love turkey shirts too! The dogs are just as much part of the festivities as anyone else haha! Here are a few pics

Claire and her tiny starbucks cup! They target kids now haha! (its hot chocoloate)

Thursday we headed over to my aunt and uncles for Thanksgiving Lunch! I was looking forward to this meal for weeks! SO good! Drew and I talked about how our families Thanksgiving dinners are so different! Its like they each have their own taste!

After lunch, we headed home and I took a nice long nap! I cant even tell you the last time I napped! It was definitely what I needed before heading over to Drew’s Aunts house for their big Thanksgiving Dinner! Drew’s Aunt loves to cook so she had a gourmet meal waiting on us! It was delicious!

Drew and Sadie after our fun filled day!
Saturday we went into PARTY mode for MISS CLAIRE’S 6TH BIRTHDAY! The them was Rhinestone Cowgirl! The outfit Claire wore my mom actually made for my little sister when she was in this big pageant! I mean it doesn’t get any cuter! It was perfect! Everyone dressed up in their best cowboy gear and had a blast. My little sister’s boyfriend owns some horses so he brought one out for the party! How cool is that! Claire LOVES animals and has ridden horses before so she had a ball!

some of yall may recognize this shirt from a past post! Its the awful shirt Drew owns but it was perfect for this party

After the party we headed over to the Price’s house to meet their new little man, Carson! He is sooooo cute! I have never seen such big hands and big feet on a baby! He is going to be tall just like his daddy! We also watched the gut renching hogs game over there! What a sad sad ending! But we had a blast hanging out with everyone and I cant even tell you how much baby fever I have haha : ) Of course I snapped a few pictures of the little man

Crazy busy weekend! I think Sadie has been in a Turkey Coma since Thursday : )

Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday! Now its time to get in full Christmas mode! I am in the process of decorating another tree and its ADORABLE! I will post all of my trees soon! Have a great week guys! XOXO

WOWEE you had one busy thanksgiving break! man alive! but you are right – its funny to see the different ways that a family can celebrate thanksgiving. this was my very first one to NOT celebrate with my family and a big deep fried turkey 🙁 it was sad – but fun to start our own traditions.

glad you had fun and claires party looks AWESOME! she is too cute.
