Hey guys! WE ARE BACK… and we wanna GO BACK haha We had such a great time. It was gorgeous weather with the occasional rain shower(that was WELL needed in that heat) We ate awesome food, enjoyed each others company and just had a BLAST. I took around 1200 pictures so I am splitting up the beach recaps into three different blogs. Somehow I got this one all out of order, but here are pics from the first 2 and half days.
We made this trip a family road trip but split it up into two trips on the way there. We stayed in Atlanta friday night and tons of fun in the hotel room. I think my family can have fun just about anywhere haha. The kiddos love staying in hotels too. Here are some fun pics
Saturday I woke up WAY early (I never can sleep before vacays) and hit the hotel gym.. haha I know silly. Then we headed to South Carolina! We arrived mid afternoon and immediately went out to the beach. The beach house was so pretty and very spacious and the ocean was RIGHT in the back yard : ) Of course I had my camera in hand to get everyones first reactions of FINALLY getting to Myrtle
Here is where things get out of order. Here are pics from our first day on the beach. We all got up super early and enjoyed EVERY second of it!
Here are pics from our first night in myrtle going out to eat with the family. We went to Dead Dog, funny name, but great food.
After dinner we went crab hunting. We did this in gulf shores two years ago and had so much fun. Owen was not too sure about the creepy crawlers but Claire was ALL about it. We laughed so much our bellys hurt! haha
The next day we headed to the beach bring and early again. Hey what else are ya supposed to do? right? : )
Here are pics from our second night in when Rachel and Shane cooked up some yummy mexican food…. surprised? haha it was delicious and we had a fun night in with everyone.
Drew, Nicole, Aaron and I went to a pier before dinner for a few cocktails. It was SOO windy there.

I LOVE Myrtle Beach! But we won't be going this year since my vacation days are going towards my honeymoon. I guess it's a pretty good tradeoff!
