Glitter, Glamour, and Sad Faces

Hey guys! How was everyone’s weekend? Well mine had some ups and downs…

Lets start with the Glitter and Glamour party I hosted for my friends!

Usually I plan these types of events early in advance and when I worked for my dad I had way more time to do so. Well with my new fabulous job, that is not the case haha. I was running around on my lunch breaks like crazy two days prior to this party. BUT, the decor turned out soo pretty and I just LOVED the color scheme I went with. I made ornaments for all the girls that said “Glitter Queen” So cute! The colors were rich and sparkly and just glamorous! I adore the group of girls I have as close friends. They are all such sweet, caring, fantastic people. They all make me a better person and I can laugh till the wee hours with each and everyone of them. I feel VERY blessed to have them. I was trying to think of a fun gift exchange for this party, so I thought statement necklaces were perfect! We didnt do the dirty santa thing, because we knew every necklace would be gorgeous, and we were right! We had tons of fun, and tons of wine, and took lots of fun pictures. Also my bestie Kristin and I did our annual gift exchange. We always have a theme and this year I thought Faux Fur would be beyond perfect. So we both went on a hunt to find each other a perfect faux fur coat. I found hers and even found a mini  sized one (that i got claire for her bday) for her daughter. Kristin got me the prettiest brown coat, I am obsessed with it! I seriously screamed when i saw it! haha I love me some fur girls haha.  Alright lets get to the fun pictures, shall we!

Friday on my way home from work, I stopped by this new Vintage Store in Fayetteville. It is one of the most adorable stores I have every seen! The adorable and sweet Molly owns it and she completely re-did the inside of an airstream trailer. She has always dressed SO SO cute and can pull of any look. Yes she is one of those girls that can wear ANYTHING. She has collected vintage pieces for years and decided to open up a store. It was like shopping in her closet! I picked up some impeccably tailor high waisted shorts and this awesome lame 80’s top. It was SOOO much fun playing dress up in there. I cant wait to go back and see what else she has! If you are in fay, you MUST go to this store.
Friday night Drew and I went to a new spot in Fayetteville, Delta Soul. It was SO good! I am usually not a big fan of fried catfish, or fried anything for that matter, but this stuff was amazing! I wish I had gotten a picture of it haha : )
Saturday was a SAD SAD SAD day. We had a this big fabulous day planned for Claire Bear for her bday. We had a limo rented, tickets to a Christmas Show at the walton arts center, a BIG FANCY dinner planned. BUT at 4am miss claire woke up with an awful stomach virus going around and we had to cancel. Let me tell you there were LOTS of tears that day. She was looking forward to this for weeks. It seriously BROKE my heart. We are trying to reschedule the dinner, but we did get to enjoy her BEYOND GORGEOUS barbie snow princess cake.
I mean look at this thing! Its a little girls dream!

Had to snap few pics of Bree Belle too

Sunday we woke up to some FREEEEEZING weather. And of course, we had our family pics scheduled and then little Owen got the virus. This thing is contagious, let me tell you! So we canceled the pics so everyone could get rest and get better. Drew and I went and watched some football and picked up our new leather couch! YAY! Starting to collect new furniture for our future house: )
So This post was going to probably be the biggest picture post EVER, but not everything goes according to plan, and that is ok. : ) I hope everyone had a great weekend and have a fabulous week!! XOXO
