I cant even begin to tell you how amazing our weekend was! It was just beyond perfection! Just a warning… this is going to be a LOOOOOONG post with LOOOOOTS of pictures: ) You have been warned ; )
Lets get started on the fun!
Friday night we met up with the Sims to go see Rodney Carrington at the AMP. We got our cowboy boots on and some cute southern dresses and met up at Mojitos. We had a delicious dinner and then headed over to the AMP. My friend Wendy gave us some VIP passes and we got to enjoy the show in the shade (nice in the 100 degree weather!) The show as hilarious and we had an absolute ball!
Saturday I got bright and early to go finish up a few things for the big 4th of july party i helped with that was on monday. Linley and I may have done a little shopping and got polka dot pedis too : ) Then we got dressed up in some red white and blue and met my family and friends at Noodles. I had such a blast taking pics of all the kiddos in their red White and blue. Those colors together are just fabulous! After dinner we went to park and watch the mall fireworks. Bree’s expressions were to die for. I got so many adorable pics of all the kiddos. Such a great night.
Sunday I had to go finish up a few MORE things for the party on monday and then we got dressed up again in our 4th of july clothes! haha see a trend. I got to finally wear this red dress that has been burning a hole in my closet! oh and my infamous 4th of july shoes that smell like fireworks haha seriously! : ) We met up at Las Fajitas for some more delicious food and then headed to see the fireworks at the crosses. The fireworks were AMAZING. The kids were running around like crazy having a blast. It was the most perfect southern night.
Monday was a day full of preparation for the big 4th of July bash/Linley’s bday. The party was held at Linleys Dad’s amazing home. His backyard is to die for. Linley and I had been planning this shin dig for weeks. We made the most adorable arrangements filled up with flowers, sparklers, rockets, adorable picks from sign delivered and more. They turned our pretty darn cute. We used mason jars for the candles and a few to hold bottle rockets. We then ordered some matches that said “Red, White, and BOOM!” and put them on a table with bunches of bottle rockets for people to take home. We also ordered cute cups that said MR and MRS Independence. I also worked with Ricks to design a FAB cake for Linley. The girl loves her high heels so i knew i wanted it to be girly and with lots of bling, she loved it! Linley’s dad pulled out all the stops for this party. He flew in Nashville’s Lucas Hoge and Tim Gates for the entertainment. They were AWESOME. He also had some delicious smoked food for all the guests. At the end of the night we had the most incredible personal firework show. It was the same person that did them at the crosses the night before. I have never seen such gorgeous fireworks. The night was full of fun, friends and lots of laughs. perfection!
