My Vintage Barbie Birthday Party!

Hey hey guys! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

It was finally my birthday party weekend! I have been so excited about this party and it turned out exactly how I envisioned. A lot of details went into the party. I started with the barbie silhouette, both vintage and modern and went searching online. Since the silhouette was a ponytail I thought a “Perfect Ponytail Kit” would be adorable for each guest. I put a teasing comb, jeweled bobby pins, ponytail holder and a pink ribbon. The bags I got from papernook and they were absolutely adorable! I then wanted the centerpieces to look like a vanity. I got perfume bottles, vintage barbie brushes, makeup brushes, a jewelry box and other fancy girly things. Linley and I also made a barbie size version of my birthday dress for the dress form. Turned out SOOO cute. I then got tons of hot pink candle holder and the most adorable candles with bows on them. I have always loved hydrangeas so I had to use those as well for the tables. I ordered tons of cut outs on etsy to use thru out the party. I rented hot pink chair sashes and pink lighting for the room from eventures. Lighting makes such a huge difference. In the corner of the room I had a little barbie station with a damask dress form, a barbie chest and “hair headache kits” My friends all I know i rarely wear my hair up because I get an instant headache, so i had headache medicine for everyone : ) Linley and I also made lace drapes to hang in the front entrance of the room.  My friends also surprised me with the most fabulous barbie cake, it tasted and looked amazing!  The party was an absolute blast and everyone looked SOO gorgeous. Lets get to the pictures : )

Such a fabulous night and I think its my most favortie party I have ever done. : )
Have a great week guys XOXO
