Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Our holidays are extra special because of this beautiful baby girl.
My sweet girl is 5 weeks old! Time is flying by and we are soaking in every second with her.
Weight- My baby girl is almost 9lbs! It is amazing how much she has changed in just 5 weeks. She still looks A LOT like her daddy, but has a few of her mama’s features.
Sleep- She is starting to sleep in 4-5 hour increments. We started the “Mom on Call” method (thank you to everyone that recommended this!) and it seems to be working great. I am trying to get her on a good schedule before I go back to work in Jan.
Hair- She still has a full head of hair and it seems to be growing longer and thicker! It seems to be turning a bit red too.
Dislikes- Girl HATES hats. She also hates for both of her arms to be swaddled.
Favorites- she is getting more and more alert during the day but she seems to love 9-11am.
My maternity leave has really flown by and I cant even imagine going back to work in Jan. I am so thankful and blessed that my mom will be watching her, but its still going to be extremely tough to not be with her all day. BUT… we are not thinking about that right now and we are going to enjoy our girl’s first Christmas!
I will be taking a short break from the blog and will be back next week.
