Every year Drew and I have had anniversary/family pictures taken which always ended up on our Christmas cards, but life kind of got in the way this year so I planned something a little different this year. We met up with our favorite photographer, Maura, for a little NYE family shoot. I picked up Olivia’s NYE dress and knew I wanted to get some pictures of her in it. I then stumbled upon my dress that matched Olivia’s perfectly. Drew is typically camera shy but I talked in him into shooting a couple pictures of us for the blog too. I think he looks mighty handsome. I love how Maura captured our personalities. We were laughing the entire time and just being “us.” I told Drew he was such a natural he may have to do this more often, he laughed a little too sarcastically haha 🙂

It is really hard to believe that 2014 is coming to an end. When I look back on the year I smile from ear to ear.  I am a mother to a healthy thriving baby girl. She has brought more joy into our hearts and we are certainly blessed beyond measure to be her parents. Drew and I have been married for 6 years (together for almost 12!) There is not anyone else that I would want to “do life” with than this man. Seeing him as a father has made me fall in love with him all over again. When I became a mother, I was not sure if would be able to juggle motherhood, a full time job and the blog.  I had already told myself that my faith, family and career would not be jeopardized by my blog.  It isn’t easy thats for sure and there are plenty of late nights, but this is something I love to do and with the help of lots of people, it continues to be possible.  Which brings me to YOU, my blog readers! I can’t even begin to put into words how thankful I am for each and every one of you. It is because of you I get to do this passion of mine. So THANK YOU for being there thru my life changes, my outfit mishaps (oh boy are there plenty!), my exciting times and my challenging times. Your support means the world to me and If I could hug each of your necks, I would!

Cheers to 2015!
xoxo Tara
