How pretty is this cobalt coat? I picked this up for my NYC trip, but I have not stopped wearing it since. It is the perfect length and I love how it drapes in the front. It is surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is, which is an added bonus. I paired it with this pretty green top and a windowpane skirt. I have also worn it with these jeans and this top for a more causal look.

Speaking of NYC, I thought I would share a few of the restaurants we ate at while in town for NYFW.

We went to Peter Lugers the night I wore this look. We had it recommended to us numerous times and it did not disappoint.  I am not a huge steak person, but this was flat out delicious! We got the steak for 3 and it was more than enough for the four of us. We also had the most amazing dessert there. It looked like a typical chocolate sundae, but once you take a bite, there was nothing “typical” about it. Kate and I were embarrassed by how fast we ate it haha! Be sure to make reservations well in advance for this one!

For Valentines day we went to Babbo. I was secretly hoping we would run into Rachel Zoe while we were there, but apparently we missed her by one night because she was there the next day! I know we would have been instant friends 😉 I ordered the homemade Bolognese and I still think about how delicious it was. The pasta was incredibly tender and the sauce was the perfect mixture of sweet and spicy. We also tried the grilled octopus which kind of had the consistency of shrimp. If you go here, do not leave without trying the Roasted White Chocolate Cheesecake… it is life changing. Like Lugars, make reservations WELLL in advance for this one.

For lunch one day we went to The Spotted Pig. Drew and I went here a couple years ago and it was one of our favorite spots so we wanted to take Kate and Phillip there.  My favorite menu items are the deviled eggs, the burger and their french fries. It is a really cool laid back atmosphere. It is also really close to Magnolia Bakery if you want to swing by for a cupcake afterwards 🙂

We went to Beauty and Essex again, which never disappoints. My favorite menu items are the lobster tacos and the Grilled Cheese, Smoked Bacon and Tomato Soup Dumplings. Oh an they serve champagne in the ladies room!
