Today we are talking about the classic white button down. This piece of clothing have always given me the WORST headache when I venture out to shop for it. It is a piece everyone should have in their closet, as it will never go out of style. I like to look at this piece as a blank slate, because the styling options are endless. I wanted to help you all out with the decision making, so I went out and tried on 25 different styles to find the best of the best.
My favorite classic button down is from Banana Republic. This button down has everything I look for, slimming fit, perfect length and quality fabric (not see through!) I styled it above with a gorgeous mint blazer and my favorite skinny jeans. I did have to size up one size, which is pretty typical for the more fitted styles so be sure to keep that in mind.
Now for the other favorites! I love a fitted button down, but a boyfriend style is also a great closet staple as well as a longline style. Below are my other four favorites with a few pointers. Click the top to head to the product page too!
