Hello! Today I am so excited to talk about our amazing stay at the Montage in Laguna Beach. The Montage Laguna beach is located on the coast of Southern California with 30 acres of breathtaking luxury. Their 250 guest rooms have stunning views of the ocean and resort guests have access to luxurious amenities including a 20,000 sq ft spa. You know when you are staying at a Montage property, you are getting the full, 5 star experience.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by a very friendly staff and the recently renovated lobby took our breath away. The airy atmosphere and stunning views of the resort’s Mosaic pool and the pacific ocean instantly made us feel vacation ready.

MOSAIC POOL

At the center of the resort is the well known and most photographed spot at the Laguna Montage, the Mosaic Pool. The view from the lobby is absolutely breathtaking! I am a total beach girl at heart, but I did not want to leave this beautiful pool. We spent a full afternoon here at one of their gorgeous Cabanas. The staff was very accommodating and the food/drinks from the Mosaic Bar and Grill were amazing. Olivia’s favorite part of our trip was the coconut they server her strawberry juice in. Each cabana has 4 lounge chairs, a sitting area inside the cabana, a TV and water for your party. All we had to do was sit back, relax and soak in the sun.

Beaches

There is plenty of beach access from the Montage Laguna Beach as well. Take a small walk down to the beach and you are sure to see sea lions soaking up the sun! Laguna beaches are some of my favorites in California and we loved how easy of a walk they were from the resort.

FOOD

It comes at no surprise that the Montage Laguna Beach is home to 3 gourmet dining establishments.

The Mosaic Bar and Grill is the perfect place to grab a bit for lunch or after a day at the pool. The outdoor seating is perfect to grab a drink during happy hour too!

The Loft, which we dined at during our stay, was our favorite meal of the trip. The panoramic views will take your breath away. We thoroughly enjoyed their  creative take on American Cuisine and I was impressed with their recent menu collaboration with Kelly LeVeque. The Be Well By Kelly menu has delicious healthier options to keep you in check during vacation. The staff was incredible, they treated our daughter like a princess and I am still dreaming about the churros we had for dessert. I highly recommend!

Last but certainly not least, The Studio. Chef Craig Strong’s ever changing Modern French Cuisine tasting menu is full of local the finest artesian ingredients. He also has amazing relationships with local organic farmers which will result it the best of the best products for his dishes. This is at the TOP of our list on our next visit.

The Spa

We toured the beautiful Montage Laguna Beach Spa and it was beyond 5 stars. It features Eucalyptus steam rooms, dry redwood saunas, ocean air whirlpools, fireplace lounges, a fitness center and an adult lap pool. Their staff undergoes hours and hours of education and are committed to your overall wellness.

The Grounds

It came at no surprise that the grounds at the Montage were empicable. From the stunning tropical landscaping to the perfectly manicured lawns, the Montage will have you feeling like royalty just strolling around the 30 acres of property.

FAMILY

The Montage is not just for a couples getaway, they cater to your children as well! They offer an activities based program called Paintbox for children ages 5-12. They will enjoy thematically planned days that include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities and more!  Paintbox activities are offered each day of the week in half-day and full-day sessions. For hourly care, Paintbox Petite is available for the 2-5-year-old children.

I was also impressed with the amazing food options for children! As I mentioned above, the restaurant went out of their way to make sure Olivia was comfortable and that goes such a long way with me! Olivia also loved the adorable stuffed animal she got upon arrival too 😉

Overall, the Montage Laguna Beach exceeded all of our expectations. Being a blogger, I find myself working majority of our vacations. I left the Montage feeling rejuvenated, inspired and surprisingly relaxed.
