The Perfect Look to Transition into Spring

Happy Friday Loves! Well this week certainly did not go as planned. Drew and I headed to Vegas late Sunday and we got the dreaded phone call Monday evening that Olivia is sick. She was not showing any major alarming symptoms at that point, jut not herself, a slight cough and a low grade fever. Things took a turn for a worse that evening and her fever spiked and she was very sick. My mom took her into the Doctor and we got the dreaded positive test for Flu B. My mom guilt was at an all time high and needless to say, I was ready to get home to my sick baby girl. Of course my mom is the best person to be taking care of her if I am not there so I knew she was in good hands. I did get an earlier flight home and have spent the last 2 days snuggled up with her. She is feeling better and we thought her fever days were behind her, but it came back last night. Olivia was SO excited to be headed back to school after 24hours of no fever, but looks like she will be home for another day. This post was meant to go up while I was in Vegas but here we are. Also, I have to break it to a sweet girl that she will not be able to go to the Daddy daughter dance at school this weekend, but I am going to plan something extra special for Drew and her at home.

I picked up some great transitional pieces from Express recently and loved EVERY piece I ordered. This pink duster and cami combo was an instant favorite. I love that dusters make you appear taller and the color of this one is stunning. I know you guys love a good cami as much as I do and the detail on this tank is perfection.
