Hi Guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful three day weekend. I took the last week off due to another loss in our family. If you follow me on instagram, you already know we lost our sweet Izzie quickly and unexpectedly. I am writing a longer blog post on the last 5 months of repeated losses, but needless to say, it has been rough. Izzie brought SO much joy to us during a very dark time and I only wish I could have mended her heart like she did mine. We will miss her so greatly and are thankful for the time we had with her. Olivia has been doing well after the initial loss. It was truly the hardest thing to see her say goodbye to sweet Izzie. HARDEST. I will touch on everything more on a later post, but kids are resiliant y’all. We have been keeping her smiling and laughing.

It seems a bit well strange to even share an outfit post today with everything that has happened, but getting back into a routine has always helped me. Believe me, I slept WAY to much last week, did not even make it outside for one of my daily jogs, but I just needed to let my body rest.

This plaid poncho caught my eye on a Target run and love howe versatile it is. I paired it with a green corduroy skirt for a chic monochromatic look. Ponchos are always great pieces to have when the weather starts to cool off. They are those “throw on and go pieces,” that instantly make you look put together.
