With warm weather around the corner lets talk spring clothes by body type. One of my besties Allison did a post on spring hair, she is a fab hair dresser, go check out her blog! : )
Lets Start with the Hour Glass
Think belts to accentuate the waist line. You can belt cardis, dresses, anything! Go for more structured necklines and fabrics like jersey that flow nicely over the body.
Next Petite.
I know Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have the AMAZING Elizabeth and James fashion line, but the baggy clothes they wear do NOTHING for their bodys. Big clothes on a petite frame are overwhelming. Think fit, structure, and classic. Wear those spring platforms and work it!

Boyish
Again belts can help this frame. Low slung belts can add curves to a boyish frame. Also flirty necklines, like sweetheart, can make busts look bigger. Boyish frames should experiment with embellished and textured fabrics to add dimension. think ruffles and lace!

Full Figure
FIT is the key. Clothes should be snug, not tight. Bright colors can also make fuller figures look lean with the right fit. Baggy clothes are a big NO NO.

Curvy on bottom
wear the one shoulder trend this spring or even off the shoulder to draw attention up top. Long cardis and jackets help balance out this figure.

Curvy on top
be very subtle with accessories up top. Invest in a good bra!!! Avoid anything too bulky. Think Structured sheaths, a classic wrap dress, white bottom with a black top.

And you are so right about lace for boyish figures! I do that alll the time. Not that I’m boyish… just pretty much a stick with less curvature. Hahaha!
