Home… home on the range! haha. It’s hometown week! And this one didn’t disappoint in the Drama department
First up we meet Reid in Philly. I still do not see a spark between these two. They do not communicate well, they just make out! haha. So we head to his parents house and we find out Reid need approval from everyone in his family or this girl is not the one for him, hmm sounds like a mama’s boy to me. Well everyone seemed to adore Jill but she finds out that Reid always uses the “approval” issue to get out of relationships. Sounds like a commitment phoebe! Red flag Red Flag! But instead of being worried, Jill lays a big wet one on Reid right in front of his family. Reid looked EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and his family seemed shocked, but they liked it. weird.
Next up Break dancer boy in NYC! We find out he has a twin brother and that they are identical. But they are quite noticeably different. They still try to pull the twin joke and switch places and try to fool Jill. Michael threatens his bro’s life if he kisses her, but in all honestly he may not have a chance to pull away, because we all know Jill likes to kiss her boys. BUT she isn’t fooled. She sits down and talks to bro break dancer and he tells her that they like to marry young so they can grow with their wives and then later have children. These boys mama should be proud! Great men! Later they bust out a living room dance party and then night ends with Michael finally getting a kiss.
Next up is Kiptyn in San Diego! They head to his parents house and she immediately is intimidated by the gorgeous estate they live in. She doesn’t think she will fit in with them. So right off the bat they take her outside and show her the caution taped hot tub. OH how funny guys, we haven’t heard that joke yet. ha! Then they give her the ultimate test. The Lasagna test. I guess Kippers dad makes the best lasagna and they want to know if Jilll can taste the difference and they also added a wine test to the mix. The Wine test looked pretty easy, since one looked normal and the other looked like pink lemonade! Jill pasted them both with flying colors but was still weary of what they thought about her. So Kiptyn’s mama sits Jill down for an interview. You can tell she is pretty protective over her kipper. All is good though because mama eve says that Kiptyn has a spark when he is around her. Que High pitched Squeal from Jill. Since first impressions seem to not be that big of a deal to Jill, her and kip decide to go cut the caution tape down outside and jump into the hot tub. Mama Eve sat and watched the whole thing. NICE!
Off the to the vineyard we go to meet Jesse. Jill hops on the tractor and they venture to the fam’s house. We meet Jacob, Jesse’s polar opposite brother that he is in business with. Jacob seems to be pretty confused and bothered of the relationship between jill and jesse. He asks if he likes her, if she wants babies and then sputters off “well she is a cutie” Jesser calls her something along the lines of a sweet honey bear and dodges all the questions Jacob asked. So back inside they decide to rock out and Jill loves to see Jesse on the drums. Well we all know she likes musicians, SPEAKING of musicians….
We go to Austin for the most anticipated hometown date in bachelor history (uh huh) Wes being the fame whore he is, introduces Jill to his band right off the bat. OF COURSE she LOVES IT. So we are tortured ONCE again and here the lovely Love don’t come EEEAAAASSSSY while Jill stares at Wes with googly eyes. What they didn’t know is that a plane has landed with a perfect pilot named Jake that is back to let Jill know the truth. He goes to his room and calls tanner to ask if he is doing the right thing. Well I don’t know if Tanner is the right person to call about this, maybe if you were wanting to know the hottest nail polish color, but not this. Honestly I think he wasn’t talking to Tanner, maybe a Mr. Dial tone! Producer driven? I think so! Back at the Wes Show, Wes and Jill are talking and he tells her that he is there for the right reasons and that he is not a liar, all while staring into space. The guy couldn’t even look into her eyes, but she trusts him. So instead of going straight to his family’s house she heads back to the hotel to get ready and knockity knock! Jake is at the door. So they sit down and Jake stammers around what he wants to tell her. Jill tries to get it out of him by saying “is he not here for the right reasons?”Is he gay?” ummmm EARTH TO JILL, what has been the big controversy the whole season! DOH! Finally Jill spills it and the waterworks start. So Wes has a gf named Laurel. A few cuss words later Jake leaves and Wes arrives. The googly eyes are still there and you can tell Jill doesn’t want to believe it. She asks Wes if he needs to tell her anything and of course he doesn’t. So she tells him what happened and he is quick to say that he and this gf are just friends… of course. So Jill calls up Mr. Dial tone and Jake comes back to Jills room. So the boys duke it out of what is true and what isnt and Jill sits there in the middle just looking back and fourth. Jill states that she just needs to follow her gut, and Jake leaves. Maybe she needs to start using her BRAIN! Even though Jake stated that he wasn’t there for Jill, he still is found barreling over on the hotel rail, crying his eyes out. So Jill decides to go meet Wes’s family. Since they were a few hours late, GREAT first impression, they decide to tell his family what happened… His sisters are quick to defend their rock star brother and say that the guys are just jealous and that everyone wants to be Wes. HAHAHAHAHA! BUT guess what Jill loved it!
So back in Jill’s hotel room she is talking about how she cant take anymore surprises… ironic! knockity Knock. HEEEEEEEEEE’S BACK! Ed is back for round 2! Saw this one coming. He says that he made a mistake, he couldn’t stop thinking about her, yaddy yadda, I couldn’t get past the HORRID sweater he had on to even listen to what he had to say : ) Jill seemed to be over the moon that he was back and invited him to the rose ceremony. So we have the usually pow wow with Chris and then the rose ceremony. Reid and Kipper were shoe ins and then of course Ed then………………. wes. doh! silly silly girl. Poor Michael really was heart broken and I really felt sorry for him, but there is a lovely lady out there for him!
So have any of you fallen for Wes and his stellar voice? haha Who do you think has the issues in the bedroom next week? Who do you think is gonna win, I mean fall in love? : )

Poor Micahel, I think he is the only guy that really really cared deeply for her. Granted I didn't really see them working out, but I do feel for the guy. I hope he finds someone great.
Kip's mom freaked me out watching them in the hot tub. And of course Jill waves at her, does she wave back..NO! Scary.

UGh. I don't even want to say his name. He just makes me so sick. If I ever saw this "musician" in public I think I would spit on him. And his family, I mean come on what a bunch of liars.

Last nights show was CRAZY!! I seriously don't this whole blind infatuation that she has with Wes. He is such a snake!! I'm still reeling from the fact that she sent Jake home last week. Ummmm hello….he's hot AND nice! What is she thinking?! But I am super happy that Ed is back. LOVE him! I thought the hometown dates went pretty well. Kiptyn's family were def intimidating. Def not a family I could tolerate on a regular basis. It's shame because Kiptyn is such a cutie!! Until next week 😉

I haven't been watching much, but what the heck does she see in Wes. He seems so fake, like he's acting, when he tries to tell her his " feelings"….what a moron! Ugh!
I used to love jillian. now… not so much. She is so spontaneous and fun and everything is perfect! NOT she is dumb. She talks about how she is so not high maintenance… RIGHT! ha ha. too comedy!
Ok, I must admit…I watched it last night (even though I swore I was done) and I have to play devil's advocate for just a minute…If I were Jillian, I would have a REALLY hard time getting rid of Wes, too. There is just something about the way he talks that is captivating. His voice (talking, not singing) is so sexy. I do tink he is a TOTAL jerk, but I see why she has had trouble giving him the boot.
I felt bad for Michael, too. But, I thought it was for the best. I'm pulling for Kiptyn and I like Reid, too.

First off let me begin by saying… I love your weekly re-cap of the show!!! Last night was DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!!! And Jill is an idiot that doesn't know crap about relationships except giggling alot and making out!! HELLO!! There is more to it than that!!
I DO NOT like Wes, and I hope that it is WES that "cant get it up in the bedroom"!!!! That would be hilarious!!!!
I think she deserves Wes… If she is that dumb then she doesn't deserve one of the good guys!!!

I tried to get Mr. Nurse to fast forward through Love don't come easy and he wouldn't do it..roar. I am so tired of that song. If I hear it on the radio, I do believe I will cry, haha! She is so foolish for letting him stay, but then again I don't think it work out with her and the other two she let go either. I don't know who has trouble in teh bedroom, but I really think it may come down to Kipyton and Ed.

I almost wanted to cry for Mike; that was super sad – and he handled it so well, which made it all the more heart warming! Poor guy. Man, he DOES look like his bro. I didn't realize he was a twin until that episode. I hope he finds a good girl; his family was great, too! They should make him the next Bachelor, lol… there will be SO many good guys to choose from for the next Bach – can't wait for that!! The girls are always more fun to watch cuz they are so emotional, lots of cat fighting, etc. haha

You know, she made a comment that she fit in with all the families, but I think she was a little uncomfortable with Kiptyn's fam. His mother was a little over the top – could you imagine having HER as a mother in law. I bet she really thought that one through and that's why she let him go. Seriously, a lifetime is a LONG time to have a mom-in-law like that. She was super over-protective and while they would be able to make-nice for the first few years, I could see that going sour REAL quick. Good move on her part, I thought. It's crazy, but she's right… you have to 'fit' with the fam as well, not just with the guy. Cuz fams have a way of making things difficult and can cause friction.
I'm a little curious as to why she kept Reid. I think I would have kept Kiptyn over him, crazy mom and all. haha
