Show us your Life!

Over at Kelly’s Korner, she is hosting “Show us your Life” and this week is show us your wedding- ceremony/flowers/details etc ! Last week was show us your wedding dress and I missed that one, so here are both! : )

I admit, I looked at wedding magazines before I got engaged. Hey I had good reason too , Drew took me to look at rings on Valentines day and he didnt propose until that December (mean huh! haha). I wanted something very romantic and very “me”. I spotted this Dress right off the bat and ripped it out of the magazine. I tried on maybe 15 dresses and then I tried this one on and fell in love. I finished off the look with a lace vail and Gold Jimmy Choos. I will never forget when Drew told me that my dress looked very “vintagy” haha, he absolutely loved it! I wont even get into the drama I had getting it altered (6 times! 6 times!) but all that counts is that it fit perfectly on the big day!

this is when Drew and I first saw each other : )

The pink dress I changed into late into the reception.

I was very picky when it came to my bouquet. We got married in November and I wanted peonies…. my florist said she would “try”… well I guess I had a “Bridezilla” moment because I was very stern on getting these gorgeous flowers and I did : ) I also had hydrangea and roses.

We got ready at Dead Swanky all day! It was such a blast and Samantha did an amazing job on everyone’s hair! I had a robe monogrammed with “Soon to be Mrs Gibson” on it and of course I had on some furry high heeled shoes that my little sister got me : )

Yep! Mrs Sadie Jane was there for all the before hand festivities! I got her a fur collar jacket with of course a monogram : )

My girls! I LOOOOVE them! Seriously, I could not have asked for a better group of bridesmaids. I got them all matching Leopard robes with their first initial monogrammed and then the little ones leopard robes with their names monogrammed on the back. It was too cute! They all also got matching red flip flop house shoes.

This is one of my favorite group shots of the wedding party.

the cutest flower girls EVER! I also found these dresses in a magazine! Then we added a monogram of their initials. I LOOVED it! They carried pomander balls of hydrangea and roses that my florist dolled up with pearls. I got these two the fur caplets they are wearing and vintage blush pink purses.

It was FREEEZING on my wedding day, It even flurried for a little bit,but honestly I liked it that way. I was glad I went with black dresses, but I had to jazz them up so I got all the girls broaches. Their bouquets were hydrangea and roses. And I got them their wedding day day shoes! (See below)

awwww had to throw this picture in

We got married at Drew’s family’s church. Drew’s dad passed away almost 5 years ago so I knew it would be important to Drew to get married at his Church. The church is GORGEOUS! Episcopal churches are pretty strict when it comes to wedding services so we do not have any pictures from the actual ceremony. We recreated it though before hand.

the ring bearers! How handsome are these two! My mom made the pillows! SO cute!

and lastly our silly pic at the church. : )
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! We are celebrating Drew’s birthday early with my family tmrw! yippie! XOXO

Breathtakingly beautiful! It looks like everything was just perfect! We too are Episcopal and had the same issue with the photography- we recreated several things right after the ceremony and I am so happy we did! You are one of the most beautiful brides ever!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: You were simply stunning on your wedding day.

You put your spin on everything for that wedding. It was full of fabulousness, that's for sure!
