Thursday Ramblings

1. I am a bad blogger, I so didn’t take pictures of my Ab workouts last night, instead I baked cookies for my hubs and drank wine… shame shame : )
2. I got a massage last week and I have about 5 more knots in my back that I had before… how is that even possible!?!?! (and yes I drank plenty of water)
3. Tony Romo is supposedly dating this chick now and word is he brought this girl to one of Jessica’s concerts….OUCH! You better not let this blonde get to you on the field Tony!

4. Went and saw the Ugly Truth with my sisters on Tuesday….. It was NOT what I expected.. very funny, but also very vulgar…. don’t say I didnt warn you : ) (Gerard is smokin though)

(wireimage)5. I am going to be in another fashion show in September and its for the Animal Shelter! It’s called Strut for a Mutt (adorable right!) and Samantha Ronson is going to be the DJ at the after party! I am pretty excited but VERY nervous! eeek!6. OH…. MY …..WORD….. seriously,what is this? Midriff cutouts? ewwwwwwwww! no no no no no! BAD Forever 21. VERY bad!


7. Have yall seen the Chef Michael’s dog food commercial?!? WELL if you haven’t, there is a Sadie dog on it! I flipped when I saw it because I never seen Schnorkies! : ) The dog is a girl, but she is bigger and has a longer tail. Sadie did a little head tilt when she saw it on the tv haha. Here is a pic from their website : )

8. I made these Italian Sausage Sandwiches last night. I hate sausage, despise it.. and i LOVED these! Here is the recipe courtesy of the lovely Giada on Food Network!

2 tbsp of olive oil
2 Italian brats
1 red bell pepper sliced
1 yellow onion sliced
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/4 tsp of dried oregano
1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 tbsp of tomato paste
1/2 cup of marsala wine
8 oz of can diced tomatoes
3 Italian sandwhich rolls
(you can add some red pepper flakes if you want)

Heat the oil in a heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook until brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and drain.

Keeping the pan over medium heat, add the peppers, onions, salt, and pepper and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Add the oregano, basil, and garlic and cook 1 more minutes.

Add the tomato paste and stir. Add the Marsala wine, tomatoes, and chili flakes, if using. Stir to combine, scraping the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to release all the browned bits. Bring to a simmer.

Cut the sausages into 4 to 6 pieces each, about 1-inch cubes. Add the sausage back to the pan and stir to combine. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.

Serve in bowls. Or, if serving as a sandwich, split the rolls in half lengthwise. Hollow out the bread from the bottom side of each roll, being careful not to puncture the crust. Fill the bottom half of the roll with sausage mixture. Top and serve sandwiches immediately.

    2. Jimmy Choos at H&M? You are going to have to tell me more about this one. We will need to plan girls trip to H&M. I'm serious. My birthday is in November, it can be my birthday present to somewhere. November 14th is on a Saturday!!!
