L O V E weekend!

hey guys!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend full of L O V E! We had an absolute blast!

Friday night Miss Claire stayed the night with me and we cooked up some yummy food and then baked her daddy his favorite cookies so she could give them to him on Valentines day. Like always we had a blast!

cutie!

Saturday Claire and I went shopping and picked up the last odds and ends for my big Valentines Day dinner for Drew! Ok yall know I go ALL out when I do stuff like this, but I will be the first to admit I went WAY overboard. Sadie was fully involved in the 4 course meal I planned.. haha, go ahead make fun of me. : ) I put on Drew’s favorite little black dress I own and decorated our dining room table and then another table for the wine. Our meal started off with a Caprese salad, then steamed snow crabs legs, then an Italian crusted filet ,garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus (with homemade Hollandaise) and then last a cappuccino ice cream cake that I made from scratch. Each course had its own wine pairing as well and I made a bread basket with three different types of bread. Sadie had her own 3 course meal too. Everything turned out PERFECT! The cake was quite the process, but I would recommend making it for special occasions, its SOOOOO flipping good. Drew went on and on about it. : ) Of course we got each other small valentines (including Sadie) She was cracking me up, she knew that she had something special coming when I started to set things up. It was the best Valentines Day to date. I am so lucky to have such an amazing guy in my life. He makes me feel like the most beautiful women in the world and he adores me (and our little dog) I am a blessed girl! : )

It takes a Kitchen Queen to cook a meal like that, with hair done, black dress and high heels. Only you….Overboard? You think?
Only one you Tara, and I think that one is pretty damn cool!
