Weekend full of Parties!

Hey guys!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was non stop this weekend and it was tons of fun!

Friday I was hired for my first party! My friend Sarah called me last weekend and asked if I would decorate for her dad’s 50th birthday. Of course I was excited to do it. Printing off my first invoice for my party planning business made me so giddy! I just love doing it so much and my mom thought of the name for it, Ruby Slipper Party Planning! Don’t you love it??!!?!… its perfect! I shopped around all last week and we went with a blue and brown color palette and I added in the fun orange for the treat table. I baked some yummy sugar cookies and had all of Tom’s favorite candies. The space we had it in had this great chest and I framed funny 50th birthday quotes. Tom has a chicken farm and he loves his chickens so I added in a few in the decor. The party was a huge success and everyone loved it!

Saturday was a BIG Day, Sadie Jane’s Birthday! While I was at hobby lobby I found this awesome Miss February iron on and I made Sadie a birthday shirt! SO cute! We woke up early and got all dressed up and went and ate breakfast. Then we came back home and Jessica and Buzz came and met us for a fun puppy day. We grabbed a bite to eat and headed to the park. Then we went to petco and did a little shopping. Later in the day Jess and I went shopping and this dress I have had my eye on for months was on sale I snatched it up! I just love it.

After shopping we headed home and picked up Drew and headed to La huerta for dinner. Drew’s friend Denny met us out too.

After dinner we came home and got dressed up for a little night out on the town. Drew decided to stay home so Denny came out with us. First we opened up Sadies presents! She got 4 new dresses and some yummy treats! I also had party favors for the pups. It turned out super cute.

Today we got some delicious blueberry pancakes from my favorite breakfast spot, uncle gaylords! YUM! Sadie is worn out but I know she had a blast and a SUPER fun birthday!

Have a great week!!!! XOXO

Thanks for another FUN weekend. I always have a BLAST hanging out with you. Thanks for the shopping trip, I love my new dress and might have to wear it again and soon, but next time I will have a tan and no tights. Have a great week and I'm sad because our next gathering is so far away =(
Buzz had a blast at the birthday party. When it gets warmer we need to go to the park more often with our bundles of joy =)
