Girls Day,Baby Shower and EASTER!

Hey guys! Wow what a wonderful weekend we had. Easter sunday was absolutely gorgeous and I feel SO blessed! GOD IS GOOD!!

Friday afternoon I met my sisters, mom and the little ones for lunch at the crumpet and pedicures! The crumpet has the BEST orange rolls and its inside the Interior Galleria(I could spend hours browsing that place!)

I was SOOOO in need of a pedicure! It was so nice to sit back and relax!

Friday night I had to bake some goodies for the shower, but afterwards Drew and I went to one of our favorite spots, Hugos, for a date night! It was DELICIOUS! My bestie Jess is out of town for the weekend and i am watching her little boy buzz! Drew calls him “lightyear” haha He is so cute and Sadie and him are BEST friends.

Saturday morning I got up bright and early and headed over to Linley’s to set up the shower! The theme was Vintage Sports. I had tons of fun with this theme. I got some great fabrics, some vintage sports equipment and some awesome signs. I found the most perfect ribbon to tie the silverware that said “Take me out to the ballgame! ” SO cute! The goody/cravings table was SO much fun. I got popcorn holders, i bagged up roasted peanuts in mini brown paper bags, made baseball cookies, football strawberries, cracker jacks, and some M&M’s. It was a huge hit! I absolutely adore Sarah and her sweet family and I cant wait to see what her baby boy will look like!

After the shower I ran home to check on the pups and then met Brock, Hailey, and Kim at Joses! We had the most perfect weather all weekend! We had a blast catching up! After Joses I met Drew at Sassy’s for the end of the Butler game. We stayed there for dinner and I headed home to play with the pups. I actually went to bed at 9:30…. on a SATURDAY! haha. It was super nice though. : )

Sunday morning we got dressed up in our easter dresses (we as in me, drew and sadie :)) and headed to rogers for church with the family. It was a really great service and the worship was amazing. After the service we headed to my moms for easter lunch. It was so yummy. I made a strawberry shortcake trifle! Delish! We hid easter eggs and had a ball!

After my mom’s we headed over to Drew’s grandmas for Easter Dinner. She is the sweetest woman. I love her! All the kiddos there are older, so they played badmitten instead of hiding eggs : )
Now we are home and Sadie and Buzz are whipped out! AS AM I! haha.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and really celebrated the true meaning! HE is risen!
