Friday Fun & Aunt T Stays the Night!

WHEW! To say I am exhausted is a HUGE understatement haha. We had a very busy weekend and 3 rascals to take care of too : ) BUT lets start with our fun friday night

Friday we met up with our friends, the soon to be sims, at hugos for dinner. I love that place! We always have such a great time with this couple! Jenn and I have become such great friends and I just adore her. Afterwards we went and watched some March Madness bball. Then met up with a huge group for some bday fun. Good times indeed and I got to wear my new peacock dress im obsessed with : )

We called it a pretty early night because I had to get up bright and early to take care of Claire Bear, O-bo and Bree Belle, overnight. Rachel and Shane and my mom and step dad Jake were all going to Hot springs so I agreed to take care of the three rascals.  This was the first time taking care of Bree overnight, so I knew i was in for a ride haha. First up I had to get all the kiddos bathed, dressed (matching of course) and then we were off to Fast Lanes for some Bowling. We had tons of fun bowling, eating pizza and just goofing off. It was hilarious watching them bowl.  Then we were off to Wal-Mart and this is where I almost had an OMG moment. We were rushing around trying to get all the goodies to bake and for dinner and then Owen fell asleep while riding in the basket. I felt so bad, so I was rushing around and THEN Bree fell asleep. Oh no, oh no I was thinking, So i picked her up out of the front of the cart and started to carry her. Mind you, I had on 4 inch heels, and a leather jacket, double mistake. Luckily Claire could push the cart for me, she may or may not have knocked over a bucket… It came out of nowhere! I promise : ) Bree was a dead weight bc she was passed out, so I was sweating like crazy, arms turning into jelly and ready to get OUT of there. I am sure I got a few looks, but hey I think I did a pretty good job haha.
Claire was such a great helper and we got out of there without any grown up  meltdowns : )

When we got home Bree was ready to play again, imagine that haha. I made a pallet in the floor and turned on a movie, thinking maybe, a very slight maybe, someone may fall back asleep haha.. NOT. So I figured lets just start baking some mini doughnuts. They were a huge hit and the kids had a blast decorating them. Owen was eating them as fast as I put them on his plate. haha

We watched another movie and then my bestie came over with a HUGE coffee in hand, she is a mama, she knew I needed it : ) Then we cooked up a taco party. The kids played for awhile and then I cooked up smores, because I LOVE them. How the kids had room in their tummy’s for them, I have no idea. haha. We all got to bed around 10 and Bree Belle slept the whole night with me, twirling my hair. So sweet.

We played the airplane game, and their faces cracked me up!

The next morning I cooked a big breakfast and then promised them popcorn and a movie later. All in all it was not so bad. I do however have a new found respect for my sister. SUPERSTAR for sure. I came home with muscles in my arms sore that I didnt even know existed, too funny. I just adore these kiddos and feel so blessed to be an aunt to them. I love all the memories we are buidling and I will cherish them forever.

    Those kiddos are adorable! 🙂 All of you are making memories-that I'm sure they will cherish too! Where does your sis get all the fab clothes? (especially the personalized shirts)! 🙂

    I have that dougnut pan. My daughter has allergies so we can't buy doughnuts. I'll have to look to see if we have that glaze at our food stores and she can eat it. Great idea!!
