Hey hey! I hope everyone had a great weekend, we sure had a fabulous one! Friday night we cooked some yummy food at my moms and did some last minute things for my sisters birthday party!

Saturday I was running around like crazy picking up last minute touches and then headed to Mermaids to set up the party. The theme, Glam Chevron, came from my sisters love of the print. Then I found the FABulos chevron heeled shoes for the party favors and it was set in stone. I ordered the chevron fabric for the table cloth from fabric.com and my mom sewed the seems. I bought black chargers then ordered round printables off etsy and glued them to the centers. Such a inexpensive detail that made a huge impact. I bought the pewter chandelier for our house and it was perfect for the party. My mom made the flower centerpiece for the chandelier to sit on. I may do a tutorial with her on my blog soon. I bought the solid black and polka dot napkins from hobby lobby, they were actually by the bandannas! I also got the place card holders from hobby lobby in the wedding section. I then wanted the room to have a purple glow, so I used can lights from eventures.  I also used fancy candle holders for the finishing touches. Love me some candlelight. Boni ordered the cake from Shelby Lynn’s and not only tasted yummy, it looked amazing. I ordered the candle topper about two months ago, it was love at first sight : ) Last, the party favors. This was an intimate party, so I was working with a smaller number of guests, which left me some room to splurge. I found the shoes and about died, and since they were basically the theme of the party I had to get them. I had to be sneaky about getting the girls shoe sizes, but it was worth it. I ordered the adorable tags off etsy to put the perfect touch to the wrapping. The shoe sign actually had a red shoe, so I took a purple paint pen and colored over it. The party was perfect, the birthday girl looked gorgeous and everyone had a wonderful time. I always say this after I get done with a party, but I think this was one of my favorites! Now, lets get to the million pictures shall we : )
