Today I will be talking about ways to stretch your wardrobe. When I wear a piece of clothing I normally do not wear it the same way again. It is almost a challenge for myself to see if I can come up with a new fun way to wear it the 2nd or 3rd time. Not only is it stretching your wardrobe, but its stretching those dolla dolla bills your spent on the clothes. Win Win, especially after the holidays.
Savoir Faire gifted me this adorable Black and White striped blouse last month for my Savoir Fairest post. When I saw it, my mind started racing with all sorts of fun ways to wear it, AND it is right on trend for spring 2013!
Since its not spring yet, I will be showing you 4 ways to wear this top now.
Option one– I paired the SF top with a pair of black shorts and my grey fur vest. This outfit is perfect for a shoppin/lunchin day with the girls or a happy hour after work. Its easy, fun and comfortable.
Option 4– The final way I styled this is a more casual look. You may recognize this blazer from a post from earlier this week from Savoir Faire… I HAD to have it of course ; ) I love mixing prints that you normally do not see together. The boyfriend jeans make this more causal, but you could pair this with black skinnies to amp it up. The necklace is my mom’s I borrowed from lux craving. Its the cherry on top!
I hope I have inspired you to look for new ways to wear pieces already in your closet. We can all be frugal fashionistas guys! No need to break the bank when you already have options right in front of you. 😉
PS. I want to thank my mom for taking my pics for me while my lovely photog is living it up in California (jealous!)
