Baby Gibby Gender Reveal Party!

Hey Dolls! What an amazing weekend we had celebration little miss Olivia Mae. Drew and I would have been just as excited for a boy as we are for our little princess. Hopefully one day we will be blessed with a lil Drew too! We are thanking the Lord daily for this sweet sweet child!
So lets start with Saturday when Drew and I found out. We went to Baby Face which specializes in early Gender Reveal/3D/4D. I did a little homework so I knew what to look for on the ultrasound too. The tech did her magic and I even immediately saw it was a girl. I started crying and Drew was beaming. It was a moment I will absolutely never forget. We got to see her roll around, wave and she even had her legs crossed at the end. We decided to keep this a secret from EVERYone until the party. Let me tell you, this was SOOO hard. I am terrible at keeping big secrets like this, my family tried everything to get me to tell and I held my ground : )
Sunday was party day! I have been planning the party for weeks and was oh so excited. The theme was influenced by Kate Spade. I started with the tables outside and immediately knew I wanted a new local florist, Pigmint, to do the arrangements and you can see why below. They were absolutely STUNNING! I had a local girl do custom Kate Spade logo with all of the Old Wives tales listed. My mom made the pretty gold and white polka dotted runners and the striped bows for each setting.

Next was the Gibson Bakery table! I wanted this to resemble a local NYC bakery with a little Tara inspiration. My little sister made the most perfect NYC skyline for the backdrop. We had tons of delicious goodies of course. Holly made the perfect I <3 NY onesies and clocks for the table. That girl is talented! This table was a huge hit with the littles and I don’t think there was a crumb left by the end of the night.
Next was the Gibson Newsstand. I was sitting in my moms kitchen one night a couple weeks ago trying to think of ideas and I saw her bar hutch and thought “Hey that could be turned into a newsstand!” Where I come up with this stuff.. I have no idea haha! My little sister made the sign at the top for it, which I ADORED. I had my mom covered the wine slots with a striped skirt and we added the cute little awning at the top. I had a lot of fun with the details on this. I made magazine covers for people in the family that turned out hilarious! I also made custom newspapers with fun headlines. I think it turned out perfect.

(did the covers on Faceoncover.com, they didn’t have actual real magazine covers, but it did the job. The newspaper was a Microsoft template :))
My mothers backyard is seriously a DREAM. We wanted a “Bryant park” themed outside and it couldn’t have been more perfect. She made me all sorts of CUTE pillows for every chair and bench. I cant get over the bow and heart pillows!

Gorgeous Claire all dressed for the party : )

Sadie Jane even had a custom dress made by my mom! It had turquoise and hot pink ice cream cones all over it : )
These two right there are going to be the most amazing aunts to Olivia Mae!

flags were placed all around the outside pots of flowers too!
confetti for the kids to throw during the reveal…
The FOOD! OMG! My friend Jayme outdid herself. She runs a catering business and her food is to die for. She made an Italian feast( a craving of mine) and everyone raved all night about it. She also made a homemade cheesecake for the bakery table with homemade chocolate sauce. Are you hungry yet? : ) I wanted the food to take center stage, so I cut out polka dots and tossed them over a white table cloth for this table.

The BIG reveal! We did the balloons in a box and it was perfect. I have a video of the reveal that I will share on my bumpdate later this week. : )

Bree Belle and her stitches (from a bicycle wreck) looking precious.

a box of girls : )

We are going to love this child more than life itself and absolutely cant wait to meet her!
