One of my favorite things about fall is the footwear! I love a gorgeous pair of boots. When shopping for boots I look for a few things..
1. Construction- I am very hard on shoes, so they need to be durable.
2. Fit- This should probably be my number one thing to look for, but hey if they are not well made why try them on? You want your boots to be comfortable and fit your legs correctly.Over the knee boots can be especially tricky because they need to fit your upper legs perfectly.
3. Price- Well this is a biggie. Boots can be pricey, but this is where my favorite store, Marshalls comes in.
Marshalls’ shoe section is always my first stop while visiting. Their prices and selection are unbeatable and they always have the latest trends. These gorgeous over the Knee Michael Kors boots retail for $250 and are only $149.99 at Marshalls. That type of savings always speaks to me. I love how the front of the boot is leather and the back is stretchy. This type of construction ensures a perfect fit.
I paired the boots with one of my go to looks for fall, skinny jeans and a leopard top. Isn’t this top adorable? I spotted it at Zara while I was in NYC and knew it would be a great piece to repeat this fall. Flat boots are a must have in your fall wardrobe because they can easily be dressed up or down. I plan on pairing this pair with dresses and skirts too.
Now who is ready for the temps to officially go down? Bring on the scarves and sweaters!
