It is my baby girls 1st Birthday!
I can hardly believe a year has already passed. It is surreal to be sitting here writing a post about her one year birthday. I feel like it was just yesterday I was staring at a 6lb 5oz, full head of hair, big blue eyed baby girl. This has truly been the fastest year of my life.

It it really hard to put into words what this sweet, strong willed baby girl has taught us. Being a first time parent is the wildest yet most rewarding ride of my life. She has taught Drew and I more that we ever knew was possible.
Olivia is quite the over achiever. We always joke that she sets her mind to something… and MORE. I can’t even imagine what the good Lord has in store for her. She is going to do big things.

Being a mother is the hardest thing I have ever done. There are days that everything is pure perfection and there are days that are a flat out mess. I have learned to laugh through my mishaps and learn from them. I have learned that I can’t to everything. Over extending myself was almost a hobby of mine. I have cried and laughed more than I ever have in the past year. You feel helpless at times, but then you look at that sweet little face and everything is ok. I have learned it is ok to fail, as being a new parent is quite the learning process. I love this baby girl more than life itself. I do not even remember what life was like before her. I pray daily that I can be my best self for her. My life changed forever 1 year ago, and I can’t wait for the many memories ahead.

A little bit about the Birthday Girl

Favorites- Olivia LOVES to dance. I need to post a video of her moves, because I think they are quite impressive haha. Her favorite song of the moment is Taylor Swifts “Shake it off” She also LOVES to read books. We read together every night and she gets excited every single time. She also loves her cousin Hayes. He is 4 months younger than her, but they are about the same size. My sister and I are lucky to have our mother as our child care provider, so they get to see each other all the time. Those two are going to get into a lot of trouble together.

Favorite Foods-Olivia loves oranges, green beans, marshmallows, pancakes, chick fil a chicken, peas, and cake pops (oops!)

Words- My girl is a quite the talker. She gibber gabbers allll the time, but will repeat just about anything. She can say her name, mama, dada, poppy, ABC, 123, thank you, hi, hey, ohhhhh yeah, pretty, bye, and more.

Milestones- She is ALMOST walking. I have a feeling it will be any day now.

Dislikes- Changing clothes. I swear its like wrestling a monkey! Being told No. Getting her hair towel dried. Long car rides. Any weird textures.

Here are a just a few of my favorite pics. It would be the longest post EVER if I had them all 🙂

I will have another post up on her birthday party soon! She had such a great time and had a smile on her face the entire time.

Thank you for stopping by!
xoxo Tara
