Today I am sharing a holiday closet staple, a shift dress. I have talked numerous times about how a Shift dress is an extremely versatile piece and something that should be in everyone’s closets. Well today, I wanted to SHOW you how versatile a shift dress is.  For my day look, I paired the dresses with a blanket scarf and flat boots. The weather was gorgeous when I wore this look, but I plan on wearing the same outfit, but adding a leather jacket to the mix.

For my night look I added a killer leopard pump, a dressy Plaid scarf and a statement necklace. This is the type of outift you can wear to just about any Christmas party. Its chic, effortless and classic.

The best part, is that this dress comes in two classic Christmas colors, green AND red. I plan on picking up the red one soon too. I also think layering this dress with this blazer and this scarf would be the cutest combination.
