Today I am talking Fall Transition items with Nordstrom. I have been stocking up on pieces that I can wear now and then later into the fall. It never fails, this time of year I start craving fall hues, and sweaters. Of course the 80 degree weather quickly puts a damper on that, but just because the sweaters need to be put away for right now, fall hues in different pieces are still an option.

Nordstrom is always my go to spot for all my transition items. With their huge selection, great prices and free shipping/returns, you really can’t beat it. When I saw this marigold pleated skirt, I knew it would be the perfect transition piece. The color screams fall, but you can wear it now with pumps or booties an then later when the weather gets cooler with  a sweater and tall boots. I LOVE this color and I wanted to bring in another one my favorite fall hues, burgundy. I paired this skirt with a gorgeous faux leather jacket and long sleeved black top. If the weather is still to warm for long sleeves where you live, THIS top is a great option and can also be styled endless ways too.

A few more transition pieces I recently picked up at Nordstrom are THIS striped top, THIS utility jacket, THESE booties and THIS dress.

Head on over to my instastories or snapchat (taralgibson) to see three more ways to style this skirt into fall and winter!

I hope everyone’s week is going great! Tomorrow I will sharing my top 5 tips for bloggers, so be sure to stop back by! Also if you follow me on instagram you saw that I announced that my mom and I will be adding some new fun content to the blog. Some of you may remember WAY back when I used to party plan on the side. Well I wanted to bring a bit of that back and add in some more fun home decor type posts (holiday tablescapes, place settings etc) I am really excited about this especially for fall and holidays. We are working on getting the posts ready so stay tuned!

xoxo Tara
