Today I am excited to team up with Banana Republic to style a beautiful dress from their Fall Collection and to talk about how I am turning up aspects in my life. Being a working mom during the day and in the night hours, I struggle with “doing it all.” I want to be the BEST wife, the BEST mom, the BEST employee and BEST blogger I can be. Of course life will always happen and I will not be able to do everything I set my mind to.

I would never call myself a perfectionist. My office is a complete mess 3 out of the 7 days of the week, I am forgetful sometimes, I have piles of laundry that needs to be put away (and has been sitting in that pile for 3 days.) and my email inbox is a complete utter disaster! That is just the tip of the iceberg, but you get the idea. Honestly, I have let myself relax a bit more over the last year and “turn up” the time I have with my family and BE PRESENT! I am always on the go and always have something I could be doing. It is easy to get distracted with tasks. The thing is, they will always be there the next day. Of course there are deadlines and y’all do not even want to get me talking about day job haha, but most things can wait and playing with princess dolls an extra 20 min after bedtime with my baby girl is more important.

Now this dress… y’all I am in love! The cut if very flattering, I adore the scallop detailing and it has pockets! This is the type of dress every woman should have in their closet.  I paired with a plaid wrap and my favorite nude pumps. I adore the red color for an office holiday party and the black version is hands down the perfect LBD!
