Happy Friday! Today I wanted to share one of my favorite looks from NYFW!

This look was so much fun for me to put together. I came across THIS gorgeous sheer midi skirt and immediately knew I had to build a NYFW outfit around it. I went to browsing for a top and came across THIS pelican print button down. I saw a lot of bird prints last NYFW season and loved the subtle print on this top. I got both pieces in and immediately went to accessorizing. With a voluminous skirt, you want to accentuate your waist, so  I paired it my gucci belt. I would normally reach for a classic black bag, but I wanted to add a quirky element to the look.  I will admit, I literally laughed out loud at myself in my office when the idea of a bird themed bag popped into my head, but I went to searching on Etsy anyways. I came across THIS bag and immediately purchased it.  I wore this look to the Kate Spade presentation and I got so many compliments on my birdcage bag. I was even featured on an E! news!  As silly as it was, it made my outfit and will now be a good story to tell in the future.
