Today I am recapping four more NYFW looks! I have gotten so many questions about NYFW so I thought I would round up more outfits and answer your questions all in one post.

1. How do you plan your outfits for NYFW?

NYFW is the perfect time to get a bit more adventurous with your looks. I always stay true to myself but push myself a bit out of my comfort zone. In February, I focus more on layering. I LOVE to layer because it gives your look more texture and personality. I usually start with one statement piece and then build the look around that. Coats are obviously a huge part of each look because they are a necessity due to the weather. Accessories are my favorite way to add a signature touch to a look. Wether that be a statement earring or a unique bag, accessories should be fun, especially during NYFW! After my outfits are planned and my schedule is locked down, I then plan my outfits for each show. My biggest advise is be prepared for the weather! No matter how cute your outfit is, it’s not worth being uncomfortable!

2. Any tips on packing for NYFW?

In February its always tough because of all the outerwear.  I always pack my beauty products and at least 1-2 looks in my carry on just in case luggage gets lost. I have always been one to overpack, but I am usually packing at least 2, sometimes 3 looks a day so I restrict myself on any extra items. My designer items I always stuff and put them in their dust bags. Do not overstuff a suitcase at the risk of damaging a designer item. It is always better to be safe than sorry!

3. What are your NYFW essentials?

An portable phone charger, lipgloss, and water (gotta stay hydrated!)

4. How do bloggers go to NYFW?

Bloggers can get invited numerous ways to NYFW. Two main ways are, a sponsor of NYFW can reach out for partnership or bloggers reach out to PR of the designers requesting an invitation.

5. Any tips on a newbie attending NYFW?

Be organized, allow plenty of time for traffic and remember to have fun!

6. What is your favorite part of NYFW?

Gosh, this one was hard because I genuinely love everything about NYFW. I love meeting up with my friends and meeting new people, but my favorite thing overall is seeing the shows. As a blogger, it is part of my job to keep my readers informed on the latest trends for future seasons. It is always my goal to make getting dressed in the morning easier for you all, so when I attend the shows at NYFW, I am constantly taking mental and actual notes of trends, colors and styling options.
