Hi Guys! We are back from Colorado and I am missing the beautiful Aspen scenery so much! We had the most amazing trip and I have SO much to share with you guys! We flew into Denver on Tuesday and then rented a car to venture around Colorado before heading to Aspen. We wanted to make a couple of stops along the way with Vail being at the top of the list!

Drew and I visited Vail almost 13 years ago. We went on our 1 year dating anniversary and stayed at the Vail Cascades. Drew broke his leg on the first day of skiing, a compound fracture! Needless to say our trip ended up being different, but I never could forget how beautiful the ski town was.

We strolled around and admired the beautiful Aspen trees and made a stop at the ice cream shop. It was pretty cold, it even started to sleet,  but nothing will stop Olivia from eating ice cream haha. I highly recommend visiting Vail during ski season because it is truly magical when blanketed with snow! Also a lot of people take day trips to Aspen when they stay in Vail as it’s only a 2 hour drive!

I wore an adorable light pink sweater and the cutest beret hat. I have been on the fence about trying this hat trend, but I ended up LOVING it! I pinned my channel broach on the side to give it some personalization too. Olivia’s little outfit from Janie and Jack is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. Janie and Jack is always a store I turn to when I am looking for those special pieces, especially for trips or family pics.

We changed later that evening after getting rained/sleet on and enjoyed coffee and a few bites before heading to Aspen! I wore this adorable plaid cape and I ADORE the colors in the plaid print. It will be perfect for the holidays too!
