Hi Guys! I am SO Excited to tell you about a styling series I will be doing the entire month of August! I have always been big on showing you guys numerous ways to style pieces, wether that be for work to play, from day to night and now from summer to fall!
August is the trickiest month to buy clothes. It is a million degrees outside, but we Fall is coming just around the corner. Unless I am traveling somewhere tropical, summer clothes are the last thing I want to purchase. Fall is hands down my favorite season and I can’t help but get excited for it, especially when Bath and Bodyworks already has out their pumpkin candles haha.
SO every outfit post I do in August (excluding sponsored posts,) I will be showing you how to take the look from summer to fall! At the end of the series, I will be giving away a couple of my favorite pieces that will help you transition your wardrobe. Think moto jackets, utility jackets, booties, etc!
I wanted to go ahead and give you a peek of what to expect with today’s look! I picked up this gorgeous rose pink wrap dress for an upcoming wedding shower. I fell in love with the floral print and how gorgeous it flows. I styled it with my favorite nude sandals and Cult Gaia bag for a summer ready look.
For my transition look, I paired the dress with my favorite moto jacket and perforated booties. Topping dresses with moto jackets is one of my favorite ways to transition them into a new season. These booties, which are part of the Nordstrom anniversary sale, are the PERFECT bootie for Early Fall. It is still 80+ degrees in Arkansas in September, so I will be getting my use out of these. I love the dress and the jacket. However its too hot for me to start thinking about fall. In NYC climate change kinda destroyed spring and fall. I could use a new stylish jacket for fall/winter warm. NYC transition from summer to winter like in a day.
Great post! That dress is so gorgeous and soft! Now I know Fayetteville gets cooler temperatures faster than the rest of Arkansas, but here in the Ozarks it stays in the 90’s up until Halloween. We don’t see fall until Winter. I wish it would change in September lol!
