Hi Guys! Today I am so excited to share our stay at the stunning Montage Deer Valley Property. This was my 4th time visiting Park City and I was so excited to experience what the Montage Deer Valley has to offer. Let’s get started!
THE PROPERTY
When driving up to the Montage, it will literally take your breath away. The majestic property is nestled up at the top of Deer Valley mountain with stunning views and breathtaking fall foliage. I have also visited in the winter, and I honestly can’t decide what view is better, both are AMAZING. Upon entering the property, warmness greets you with the staff and gorgeous atmosphere. We were immediately whisked away to our mountain side view room and got settled in. Our spacious room had a fire place, large bath and a view that you have to see to even believe. You know you are right at home when you want to spend your vacation in your room. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and maintained with a refined ski lodge feel. The Montage has perfected the luxury/welcoming spirit.
FOOD
We had the pleasure of eating at many of the dining establishments at the Montage Deer Valley.
APEX– This is the Montage Deer Valley’s signature restaurant. We dined on Filet Mignon and Roasted Salmon with mouth watering sides to compliment our meals. This dining experience is one to put on your itinerary while visiting this property.
Burgers and Bourbon– The menu is full of gourmet burgers, fresh cut fries and hand spun shakes, but my favorite thing on the menu is the Wagyu Beef Nachos. I dream about them daily and it is the perfect appetizer to share with a big group!
Daly’s Pub and Rec– Be sure to visit this restaurant while you bowl with your family for delicious brick oven pizzas and more hearty fare. The pub also has vintage arcade games, shuffleboard and more. This is the perfect place to spend the afternoon with your family.
Room Service- I feel like Olivia should start writing the room service reviews because the girl LIVES for Room Service. I did ask her what her favorite meal was, and at no surprise, it was pancakes! The Montage truly knows how to do Room Service.
ACTIVITIES
What I love about the Montage is that the entire family can get involved in all of the activities. One of Olivia’s favorite things about the Montage is their Montage Merit Program where you can earn pins for certain activities. She is already plotting for us to go back in the winter so she can earn her ski pins!

PAINTBOX
The Montage has an amazing kid program called Paintbox for ages 5-12. They offer full day and half day programs as well as evening packages. Olivia got to experience one of the activities where she got to make a pizza with Chef Jack. She started off by painting her very own chef hat! Chef Jack could not have been more welcoming and Olivia loved every single second of it! The Montage also has their very own Mascots! Olivia got the hug on Monty on our last day and boy was he the sweetest little/big thing! I love that the Montage makes the little guests feel just as special as the adult guests.
OVERALL
The Park City/Deer valley area has quickly become one of my favorite places to visit. To put it simple and short, the Montage Deer Valley is the ultimate destination for a family wanting to make incredible memories to last a lifetime. While there is so many amazing activities, you will still find time to relax while having s’mores fireside, have amazing conversations with your loved ones and most importantly, leave with full hearts. Two big thumbs up to the Montage, but next time we may have to take your mascot home with us 😉
WHAT TO PACK
Staring in late September temps start to drop in the evening. You will still find temps reaching in the lower 70s/upper 60s during the day so layers are key!
