A CIRCUS of a weekend!

Phew! What a busy weekend! This is the first time I have sat down in days! Drew gets back into town tonight for Los Angelas(he has been there since thursday!) I am so ready for him to be back home! He went to the Lakers game friday, So jealous, and then hung out with some friends the rest of the weekend.

So lets start with Thursday! You guys are gonna laugh at me haha, I had my outfits planned for the concert a couple weeks in advance and even had a little drama with the pink dress i posted below… I ordered it from Bebe, it was too big, then I frantically started to call places to see if they had my size and then found it on ebay! Yea! WELL, Kristin and I got into Kansas City pretty early, so we went shopping at the Plaza. In true Tara form, I bought ANOTHER dress and ended up wearing it to the concert. I wanted to wear the sequin jumper to the concert and change into the new dress I bought to wear out, but the Power and Light District was right across the street from the Sprint Center so we were not going to make a trip back to the hotel after the concert… I am sure I will find somewhere to wear it, but I took a picture of me in it so you girls could see how it looks! Well we got to the concert and had a BLAST! The pussycat dolls opened the show and they were awesome. Those girls can dance! Then popped up Perez Hilton announcing the start of the concert. It was pretty dang hilarious! Perfect for this concert. Britney came on and looked fab! There was so much going on during this show, it was impossible to keep up! It was like a real circus minus the animals! haha. Of course Britt didnt actually sing, but she put on a FANTASTIC show. She did talk to the audience about 4 times and let out a few “whoops” during the fast dancing numbers. You could tell the parts of the concert she liked the best. It was an all around entertaining concert and the best one I have ever been too! Britt is BACK! : ) ALSO, my camera died halfway thru the concert, so I didnt get any pics afterwards, but we had a blast and danced all night long! We got up the next day and ate some yummy food at the Cheesecake factory and shopped a bit more… yes I got ANOTHER Dress : ) haha and a purse. : ) Here are some pics!

Friday night my friend Kristy and I went out for some wine and a mini girls night. I dont know how I had the energy to go out again, but we did and had a blast! Here are a few pics from that night

Saturday I had a baby shower for one my friends, Elyssa. She is due in 5 weeks and she is absolutely glowing! She is having a baby boy and she got some of the cutest stuff! Drew and I got him a plaid shorts onesie with a guitar applique on the back..ADORABLE! I love buying baby clothes!!! Here are a few pics from that day.

Saturday night my friend allie had everyone over to her house for a get together. A few of her close friends were in town and we all had tons of fun. Allie and Catherine both had their dogs too. Sadie loved having some friends to play with.

Today I went to Niki’s little boy’s birthday! What a little cutie he is! Such a doll. Drew and I got him some little boy air jordans. Talk about adorable. Jared, Niki’s husband, is Drew’s good friend and those boys are obsessed with their Jordans, so it was the perfect gift. Here are a few pics of the birthday boy and Niki.

So yes I had a VERY busy couple of days, but loved every second of it! I will be catching up on everyone’s blogs tomorrow! I feel like I havent blogged in weeks! : ) Have a great week guys!
