Back today for more Gibby Christmas fun! I started Christmas Vixens 5 years ago to get all the girls together for a dinner before everyone gets super busy with the Holidays. We all get dolled up and have a blast unwinding.
This year it was at pinnacle country club and I did a peacock theme. Each year I give the girls an ornament, so I made fancy birds nests with baby peacocks on them. They turned out pretty fabulous! I decorated the table with my moms help! (thank goodness for her! The party was the same day they photographed my home for the magazine!) Everyone came to my house for dessert and a cocktails before the party. Who says you cant eat dessert first? 😉 Also we have a themed gift exchange for anyone that wants to participate and this year we did scarves. We had so much fun sitting by the fire eating wonderful food and drinking fantastic wine. We were missing a few ladies, but we had a wonderful relaxing night.
guess sadie was hungry 🙂
The next day my mom and I headed to Big Cedar! We headed down before the boys because they had to put in a days work. On the way there my mom spotted this random store on the side of the road that had full lenght faux fur coats. She literaly gasped yall! haha. Of course there was one left in her size and she HAD to have it 😉 oh and of course we documented our road stop haha. We got to Big Cedar, checked in and then headed to our unreal cabin. This place was gorgeous and the amazing deal we got on it made it even better. It didnt take us long to head out to do some shopping. First stop was the gift shop where we both found matching PJS because the 3 pairs we brought were not suitable Then we headed to the outlet malls were we did some damange. My mom even found me some socks that had a little sadie on them 🙂 That night we dolled up big cedar style and heaed to the buzzard bar for a late dinner and night caps. It was such a fun day!
ootd, Savoir Faire from head to toe, sweater, leather shorts and boots
c’mon that hats sexy huh? 😉
The next day we woke up to snow flurries! It wasn’t much but it WAS snow haha. We ordered room service while we waited on the boys to make it to big cedar. Once they arrived we headed to branson landing for lunch and some more shopping. That night we got dressed up and went to dinner at the Worman house. I just adore Big Cedar. The grounds are gorgeous and instantly make you relax. Its one of my favorite places to visit. After dinner we headed back to the buzzard bar for more late night fun. The perfect getaway right before Christmas. I think we may make this a tradition for our family. : )
