Well hello there! I didn’t quite mean to stray from my blog for a week, but I think I just needed some time to relax after our crazy busy holiday. I have read 6 books over the past 5 days and the peace and quiet was quite refreshing. I must have inherited the speed reading gene from my mother! I have always enjoyed reading, but I cant put the book down once I start reading.
So its time to catch up and lets start with our super fun New Years Eve! A couple years ago we started spending New Years “in” with the kiddos, family and close friends. We of course still dress up and go out to dinner, but we countdown the last 10 seconds of the year usually at home. Drew and I have had PLENTY of wild and crazy NYE nights, but the crowds and tipsy crowds are just not our cup of tea anymore. We are so grown up haha ; )
We all met at my moms before dinner and had a cocktail and then headed to Copeland’s for a yummy dinner and then back to her house for a dance party. The little ones were dressed tot he nines as well.
and the NYE pics continue 🙂
Happy belated New Year, Tara! Been reading your blog since the beginning and I look forward to more posts from you in 2013 🙂 God bless!

I wanted to share a prayer with you that I try to say daily, it's short and sweet, but easy to remember! "Lord, let the desires of your heart be the desires of mine!"
On that note, it would be fantastic if a little Gibby was in your future! You are a fantastic aunt and would be a great mommma!
Praying for you to see a BFP soon! In the meantime, hang in there…it will all be SO worth it. You will be a great mommy and have the best dressed and accessorized kid around!
