Happy Mid week guys! Today I am sharing one of my favorite weekend looks. I have always loved mixing brown hues with black. It is against everything I was taught by my mom as a young girl, but everyone once and awhile you have to be a bit rebellious right? Speaking of a rebellious young girl, I didn’t get into much trouble growing up. I was a “goody goody”  and stayed out of trouble for the most part. Well one “rebellious” night I snuck out of the house to go bring my high school boyfriend a pie I made him haha. I am sitting here laughing because 1. I got caught immediately and 2. I really hope thats the only thing I catch my girl doing when she is that age haha.

ok so back to the outfit…. this top is a great piece to have your closet to style year round. I love the front pockets and lace up detail. I  paired it with some high waisted shorts. I was not sure how much I would love these shorts when I first ordered them, but y’all… they are super flattering! They are also cute with a plan white tank and statement necklace.

So tomorrow is the big day for the Early Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I have a huge giveaway hitting the blog bright and early in the morning and I will also have a full round up of all my sale picks!
