Happy 2018! I hope everyone had a wonderful new years eve and celebrated all the big and small successes in 2017. Today I wanted to share my top favorite purchases of 2017! These were items you guys loved and I loved all year long.

BEST OF BEAUTY

T3 Curling Iron– This is a repeat item of 2017 and will forever be my favorite curling iron. I get questions all the time about my curls and this curling iron is hands down the best. My curls last for days and I even wake up after a nights sleep with curls still in tact. I wore my 1 inch barrel out and had to repurchase it this year and my hair thanked me after 2-3 days of no use haha.

Lash Boost– This is my favorite purchase going two years in a row! I have tried all of the lash serums and this is hands down the best. I noticed insane growth and curl in my lashes. Worth every cent!

Mascara/Primer– I tired quite a few mascaras in 2017 and I have a couple of favorites. My favorite primer is the Dior Primer. This is a bit pricey, but I found it worked the best! My favorite mascaras are Tarte Gifted and IT Cosmetics Super Hero.

Amp Roller + Intense Renewing Serum – Rodan and Fields has been my go to skincare for the last two years and their new amp roller and serum pods are the best of the best. The Intensive Renewing Serum, powered by Retinal-MD, delivers 20 times the revitalizing strength of Retinol.  I use my amp roller 3 days a week and follow up with the serum. BEST OF FASHION

Spanx Leggings– I finally jumped on the bandwagon this year and purchased these holy grail leggings. I got them during the #nsale and I actually accidentally purchased two pairs haha. Obviously I wasn’t about to miss out haha. They are exactly what you would hope for in a pair of leggings. They suck you in, high waisted, and super flattering. I have worn mine non stop and see that continuing for years to come!

Parker Smith Jeans– You guys know I LOVE my AG denim, but this year I was introduced to Parker Smith Denim and I fell in love. While I will always reach for my AG denim weekly, Parker Smith Denim will always be in rotation too. My favorite style is the bombshell.

BlankNYC Suede Jacket– This item was one of the top 3 purchased items on my blog in 2017! The majority of you purchased it during the nsale and I love hearing how much you love it. It comes in tons of colors now and worth every cent at full price too! I have my eye on the ivory one for winter!

Free People Layering Tee– This was one of the most purchased items of 2017 too and one of my favorite tops to date! I love finding tops you can wear with leggings and dress up/down. It comes in four color sand fits TTS!

Vince Camuto Booties– This was hands down my most worn bootie of 2017 and also a top 5 purchased item on my blog! Vince Camuto is always my go to brand for booties because their price points are fantastic and the quality is amazing. Below are a few of my current favorites.

Prada Monocrome Tote– This bag was a recent purchase and it has quickly become one of my favorite bags! I actually was not even planning on buying this particular bag while I was in NYC, I had my eye on THIS one. I walked into Prada and my eyes immediately went to this bag. It is a brand new style and the size is PERFECT for everyday use. I love the chic monochrome look and the Prada Saffiano leather is my favorite (THIS bag was my favorite of 2016.) This bag has sold out on nordstrom a couple of times, but I found it here.

0-Venture Key Ring– This key ring has been a life saver! It was a gifted to me and I am obsessed with it. I am known to always loose my keys and since I got this handy Key Ring, they have not been misplaced. They would make a great gift too!

ASTR Lace Dress– I styled this dress three times on the blog last year and it was hands down the most popular dress of 2017! You guys loved it as much as I do!

TRAVEL

Calpak Marble Luggage– This luggage was also a popular purchased item in 2017. I have traveled with this luggage on 35+ flights and the structure + inside is fantastic. Of course there are bumps and bruises but I was impressed with how well it kept up! I recently purchased THIS luggage set for Drew too!

Senreve Bag– I reviewed this bag on THIS post and it has been the BEST travel bag. The structure is amazing which makes it perfect to carry my laptop and camera equipment in. My mom carried it a lot in NYC with my camera in it and it was a life saver.

GOALS

I am so excited for 2018 and my mind is racing with so many ideas for content. Below are a couple of the topics you can expect to see on Jimmy Choos and Tennis Shoes in 2018.

-In 2017 I loved incorporating  my daughter on my blog posts. I have mentioned before that has always been a huge struggle for me, but she enjoys to be a part of it and we have so much fun! You guys love our posts together and we love creating the content, so you can expect to see more of that in 2018! THIS post was one of my most popular in 2017!

-I am also going to start including a bit of work wear and a fun styling series incorporating work looks. This was a HUGE request by you all. I have worked in both business casual and business attire dress codes and I am already starting my research to find the BEST workwear pieces. I am really excited about this new series and I can’t wait to share more details soon!

-We are also going to start including some home decor posts in 2018. We have lived in our home for over 5 years and I am excited to start refreshing spaces and sharing the process with you all. This will more than likely start mid year as we are going to spend a good amount of time finding the right pieces for our spaces.

-We are currently planning our travel calendar for 2018 and I will be sharing our plans and wishes, like I did last year, this week on the blog! While we have our favorite destinations, we are looking at traveling to new places in 2018. I LOVED being able to take my mom and daughter on trips this year. We have created so many memories and had the best time exploring. We have a trip coming up in a couple of weeks so stay tuned for that!

-Lastly, one of my goals in 2018 is to be more open and share more of my life with you all. I tend to focus on fashion and keep a lot of our personal life to ourselves. There are so many Drafts I have saved on personal subjects that I have never hit publish on. In 2018 I want to push myself outside my comfort zone more.
